Tuesday, April 14

If I have to beg and plead, I don't mind cause you mean that much to me:

For those of you who know me well, there is one word in my vocabulary which is coming to mind very strongly this morning, however, I must keep it clean because I do not know who is watching. Oh what the hell, I will leave it up to you adults to edit.

Fuck!!!

I guess it is just the not knowing and every thing I hear coming from the Dr.'s must seem worse to me than it actually is. This morning our Dr. made his visit via robot. Technology! He was able to monitor his team examing Dean and discuss the next course of action. This morning the Dr. is concerned about the pnemonia. Apparently the antibiotics are not doing their job. Course of treatment: Turn Dean over on his very bloated belly in hopes that it will cause drainage of the lungs. They hope to keep him in this position for at least 4 hours or at least as long as he can tolerate.

Riley has a basketball game tonight. Go Bulls!!! Riley has definately got game. Even if I do say so myself. His game has changed so much since his first season. So much more confidence and moves.

Well, the day I have not been looking forward to is upon me. Jim and May are leaving tomorrow for Seattle with a promise to return.

Time to be a big girl, or shall I say a grown up women.

P.S. Rick, Dean does have a birthday coming up on April 30 and he will be 49. May was so impressed that you remembered. The thanks is to you who continue to show your love and support and we truly enjoy reading all the comments.

P.S.S. Thank you to Hags, Doug and Tracy for the flowers they were beautiful and what a great way to liven things up around our place.

P.S.S.S. Riley's school has started preparing meals from us and last evening we enjoyed Ham, Potatoes, and Green Beans and boy it was delicious. Thank you to Lisa, Scott and David.

Please don't leave me, don't you go.......................

I ain't too proud to beg, sweet darl'n....the Temptations! This is a fun game! You can keep putting up lyrics of songs that you're feeling and we can guess them....or try. In regards to the birthday, mine was april 6th. Tracy's was the 7th and i remember Dean was a taurus so later in the month, after the 22nd. It has been over 25years though. You sound like you have a good taste in music and movies. Sometimes they can help you through those foggy moments. I gave the blog address to the Halle's but i got the impression that they had never used one before so i'll follow up with them to see if they are getting your wonderful updates. What's Dean listening to in music these days? You said earlier, i think, that you were playing music for him. I hope you don't mind us blah, blah, blah'ing on this. It's hard to know what to say. Good luck to Riley! Many many good lucks Bulls!

Well, I knew there would be one word that would get me to start blogging and you, my sister, my friend, have uttered it!

It's all in how you use the word. I say (parents edit here)
Fucking robot! or Go fucking Bulls! either way, it works.

I am thinking of you all and staying on for the journey. Deano is a fighter. What do they say about being either a lover or a fighter? In Dean's case, he is the exception because I know he loves you and Riley and is fighting to continue.

Thank you sooooo much for keeping the information flowing.

Love you
Jennifer

Hi Teri, This is Diane from Portland. I'm not sure if you got my last message (I'm extremely technologically challenged). I just wanted you to tell Dean,I LOVE him and he better get well soon!!!!!I finally saved enough money to come back down to Cali. so he better be ready for me. I wish there was something we could do to make things all better. How about if Riley wants to he can write me a letter. I'd like to hear about his basketball games, team, etc. and if he needs to be angry,or frustrated,or just needs to tell someone a good story I'm here. Diane Namba 1144 NE 73rd.ave. Portland Oregon 97211. I called Kevin in Hood River and he will let the Asai's know, I also talked to Joyce and she will let the Kikkawa's know. I also let Brisn know. These are all the Aunties and cousins. Let us know if we can help and give Dean a big hug for me! Love you Diane

Teri, don't think that we've forgotten you guys, because we haven't. I tried responding Sunday, but my fumble fingers sent a blog to who knows where. We read your daily messages and laugh and cry with you. Dean is strong and a fighter, as are you. Your love for one another is one reason, Dean is still with us. Another reason is that God is not done with him, here on earth. For He gave His only begotten son! This so that we live our lives. We continue thinking and praying for you, with love Uncle Dave & Lynn
