I am sure all you out there in blog land who know me, know the thought of a blog is so foreign, yet at this time I find it extremely comforting. It is a though through updates I have a tangible way of holding my husband very closely in my heart.
Dean is continuing to dream his life as it will be upon his return to us and I am looking forward to hearing all his stories of his experience during his travels.
Today, I am reminded of a movie "Ground Hog Day" where everyday is the same and though I know we are moving toward our creation of a new and exciting life it is all now, temporarily, measured by Deano's progress.
After speaking with the Dr.'s this morning they are concerned about the possibility of fluids in his lungs. At approximately 1:00 pm this afternoon they will do a blood test to make a determination of the amount of oxygen in his blood. That will determine the necessity of putting a scope through a tube already in place and possibly drain fluid from his lungs.
Jennie, his nurse this morning, asked if Deano worked out alot because according to the nurses he has soooooo much muscle on his body. Now you know that made me laugh and you know Deano does not like to work out.
Tomorrow is a new day........

We're cheering for you Deano!
Teri, does golf count as working out? :-)
Not for Dean. The Namba's was the place to hang out after school(spelled right this time)
His idea of working out back then was nilla wafers and ice cream. Thank you for keeping us informed. I know it's tough on you to keep so many balls in the air at the same time, so thanks Teri. Again, my best wished and thoughts to you and yours. hmmm nilla wafers
Hello Teri, Riley and Namba family. I wanted you to know that Gary informed me of what happened to Deano and I was truly upset. But I know Dean very well and he is a real fighter and I am sure that after this moment of rest he will be coming back to you. I have contacted several of his friends up here in Seattle and we are all praying for Dean and you and sending all our best vibrations to help Dean with his recovery. Much thanks to you and who ever else may have been involved in setting up this site. Please know that we are thinking of you constantly and are with you in spirit.
Sincerely - Tim DiMarco
Hi Terri, I had to laugh too about the comment by the nurses. The guys that grew up with Dean know that we would go to the Namba's house and watch tv, eat Nilla Wafers and ice cream. I can't say it did much for me, other than taste good but Dean seemed to get stronger and faster by the day. We all marvel at how remarkable Dean is and he is special to anyone who meets him. We are all thinking about you and Dean and you're in our prayers.
Doug
