I took my love and I took it down
I climbed a mountain and I turned around
And I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills
Well the landslide brought me down
What can I say - the picture speaks for itself and he does look good outside. We sat out in the court yard and then we watched some tennis in the family room. No schedule of events today.
Jim and Mia arrived from Seattle today and just in the nick of time. The drive to Long Beach is really not that bad - if you do not get traffic on the 405.
Dean and I laughed a lot today and that was really nice.
Oh, mirror in the sky
What is love
Can the child within my heart rise above
Can I sail thru the changing ocean tides
Can I handle the seasons of my life

Hey Teri,
Good to see ya back! Wow! 45#'s! Maybe if we could bottle it......
Those hospital tie-pants are great. Easy to get on and off and fit easy like an old pair of socks. Trouble with the tie i'd guess for Deano but that's therapy for ya. He does look good in the pictures. Thanks for those.
Mile marker 10! Very cool. I'd read somewhere that when you run a marathon that, anybody that trains can do the first 20 miles. After that the body SO wants to quit. It's the mind that keeps you going forward. A constant battle of mind over matter as they say. Everything screaming for you to stop. to keep going is simple.....one step after another. Each runner wins ofr loses that battle not with the course but with themselves. I know now why i've never run a marathon. That body/mind debate was lost on the first mile marker. lol. Well, maybe before when we stopped for ice cream.........
I hope you're keeping all these blogs. It is amazing to see from where you started to where you are now. The darkest days are truely behind you. There are dark days still ahead but, they will never be as dark these days you've been though in the last 2 months.....
To brighter days! To brighter tomorrows! To thinner jeans! To nilli wafers! To a dog sitting in his lap! To a son's hand! to a wifes smile!
To brighter days!

What a journey and look how far you've all come. Washington Namba's eh? I was wondering about that... Both you and Dean are looking younger and younger. How did you do that? : ) Sending love all ways. Laura
