Thank you Tim DiMarco for filling us all in of the events from Thursday.
In case some of you didn't know Tim was our best man when Dean and I married almost 14 years ago.
I almost can't believe today is Saturday. The time I have at the hospital now is just about reserved for weekends only.
Well today I again find myself at a loss for words without even a song in my repertoire to express the amount of fear that I feel for Dean and our family, especially since it appears that, ready or not, Dean will be coming home on July 30.
At some point early on in this journey it occurred to me that maybe what we had just been through was the easy part and that the hard part of this journey was yet to come. And as July 30 approaches I feel the weight of what this could possibly mean and the changes and adjustments that still lie ahead for us.
Until next we meet.

hey Teri,
You're right. Just like the amount of time i'd guess you would spend training for a marathon far out does the amount of time spent going for milestone to milestone, marker to marker in the race itself so to does your road ahead. You're past the hard part but now starts the long stuff. The stuff that justs takes time and effort. Remember those last 5 ,iles of the marathon your body can't do. It is the mind and heart that make it leep going. For you this will be easier then most. Not only do you have a strong mind and heart that we've all seen over these dark days but, your mind and heart are bigger......
your mind is as big as this blog and your heart is as big as all your familt and friends.
Be well Teri! Be well Dean! Be better....
From our minds and hearts to yours,
Ricker
Teri,
Don't look down now. You and Dean have come soooooo far and you can do this. With a few adjustments and God's help you can do anything. We are all rooting for you both. You'll look back on this as a faint memory some day. Good luck at home!
